Data transfer to the US is safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Source Code Management (GitHub): The source files for this website are managed via GitHub, Inc. (USA), which integrates with our hosting provider.
Domain Management (IONOS): Our domain is registered and managed through IONOS SE (Germany).

SSL/TLS Encryption: For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential data, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS): We use Brevo as our Email Service Provider (ESP) to manage subscriber lists, store your contact information, send newsletters, and manage opt-ins and unsubscribes. Your data (email, optional name, consent status) is transferred to Brevo for processing in accordance with their privacy policy and subject to safeguards like the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international transfers. We do not sell or rent your personal data to other third parties.

8. Data Retention

We will retain your personal data for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, we will cease sending you newsletters but will retain your email address on a suppression list for 3 years to ensure we honor your request and comply with legal requirements, unless you request complete erasure sooner (see Your Rights).
